    Hi Everyone,
So I’m looking to lift the truck and I’m finding out there is more to it as I read more. I want the truck leveled and looking to put a 2 inch lift. How do I accomplish this with the rear? I would like replace the leaf packs and shocks. And I do plan going with OME.

The lift kit is $1,404.99 and the UCAs are $705.08 plus tax with free shipping from Marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road. I paid less than that because I bought the front coils/struts and rear shocks from someone else selling them although they were new. Any install assistance, tires, wheels, and alignment would be separate of course.

I didn't do a diff drop. I did do the carrier bearing drop which is included with the Dakar leaf pack.

Has anyone gone with this setup? I understand that OME will retain the rake so i am thinking of adding OME trim packer to the front to help level. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Trim packer is for the taco lean not rake. Top hat spacers are for rake.

From what I read on multiple websites was that trim packer helps with the level and yes for the taco lean.
The top hat spacers should work for this set up?

Sure but I'd remove a leaf to reduce rake though but that's just me.

Hmm, removing the leaf will reduce the rake without having to use trim spacers or top hat spacers? This seems to be a better choice?

Does removing a leaf spring reduce the life of the leaf pack?

Depends on how much weight you're carrying. If not a lot and you're running dakars, taking a leaf out is no big deal.

Guess it just seems like a better idea to go with top hat spacers to get the level and still run the OME setup.

The 5100s and the OME standard kit, lol. Im not shopping the BP51s. I hear people claim the 5100s ride better and vice versa. Ive had the 5100s the front felt good, but the rear with the sport OE leafs and a single AAL was a little rough.
