Honestly, you'd probably be okay since you are sagging so much. If you keep the stock bump stops, the shock won't compress anymore than with a stock leaf but the shock will probably be your limit strap on the rear until you get something with more travel. Frankly though, the OME shocks don't have a ton of travel. My Bilstein 5160's actually have a bit more and I run them on stock leafs for now. I think you'll be fine.

Hey guys. So I’m picking up my full OME kit for my 2010 DCSB this weekend but still have a couple questions.
    1. I’m going through 4wp in Denver and want the 887s up front but they are telling me those springs are for 2016+? Doesn’t seem right because I have seen many 2nd Gens with these springs here on TW. They are telling me they won’t fit on my 2010? Are they full of shit or am I missing something?
    2. If this is true and I have to get 885s paired with HD Dakar pack how much rake can I expect with and with out a canopy
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Been on 887s on my 2015 for 65k or so... No issues, except they started to sag shortly after adding front bumper, ifs skid, and sliders.

Hey everyone, need some input. After reading hundreds of pages I hope I can get a clear answer to my dilemma.

2013 DCSB with camper shell and sleeping platform, just installed a ARB Deluxe Bumper without winch last week and got new suspension installed this Monday.

The shop owner is an ARB vendor for years and after I told him what I want to do, he suggested OME 886 with 90000 nitroshocks front and HD leaf pack with 60091 nitroshocks in the back. After reading a lot prior to the shop visit, I agreed to it.
I put the bumper on myself and truck didn't seem to sag at all. So I was looking forward getting the OME suspension installed soon especially the new leaf pack since my old pack was pretty much flat due to the camper shell.
Fast forward, during the install the owner comes up and says he didn't realize but he was out of the HD OME leaf pack but he had the HD Dobinson here and after confirming their quality, I agreed to install them. HD as of heavy duty.
A little later I walked around and checked on my truck and saw the front shocks and coils installed. I came to realize, that they looked weirdly skinny so I asked the installer and he said those are the 887 on 900021 shocks. Owner comes out of office and says he thinks with just the bumper, it would be a better ride with the 887 coils and softer shocks. Well, I told him that I heard they would sag over time according to TW and he said if I am not happy he can change it with no cost.
Anyways, pretty weird that he tried to sneak those on my truck but I do like the ride and I am sitting at 22.75 front right now.
Anybody has similar set up and can confirm the good or bad about 887 coils on 900021 over time?
Thanks guys and Merry Christmas to all

My personal experience with 3 different ome set ups is they all sagged. I had 885, 886 and now on BP 51s. Wish I went with dobison or something else.

I have added an ARB front bumper with a 9500 winch to a 97 single cab. The measurements I’m getting after the install are DF: 20.5” PF: 20” DR: 22.5” PR: 22.25”. I would like to just get the truck back to level but feel a higher spring rate will also be needed for the extra weight. What is normally ran in a similar setup? From some research it looks like 5100s and 881 might get me where I want to be.

Hey guys need your help. So I have suerched up and down this forum and can not find the answer. OK so here is what I need your help with. I have a 2011 DCSB PRERUNNER stock weight . I now have the billies with the 883s set at 0 and got about 1 3/4 of lift. I want to install the OME 884s on billies set at 0. I am looking to get a full 2 to 2 1/4 of lift. Is anyone out there that has a BCSB PRERUNNER and installed the set up I am looking to do? If so could you tell me what results you got? I found a chart from ARB and they are saying that with the 884s on a 4X4 it is 2 in Or less but doesn't say what it is for a prerunner. Also ARB use to say that the 884s would give you 2 to 2 1/2. What changed? Any and all help would be helpful!!

Sorry for the long write up!

I had 884s and got 1.75" lift on my 4wd so 2" of lift on a prerunner sounds reasonable.

OK sweet. A sold 2" would be great! Are you a DCSB and that was with stock weight?

Welp, finally had a couple extra minutes to snap some pictures. Install was way easier than I expected. Took me and a friend with a lift, all the right tools and experience about 5.5 hours. 887s with nitro soft ride struts and nitro shocks, SPC UCA’s and Dakar medium duty leaf pack. I already have the add-a-leaf to make the Dakar’s HD when I get topper, rack, RTT etc. love the ride but that was expected as this is my third Toyota with OME suspension. 03D1FC67-8801-4527-97E4-2D3881FBFCE5.jpg7F7CA738-3AB7-4A96-869F-BE2E06053342.jpg 735599BD-B9C4-4366-A10E-9635C0CC7F85.jpg
