    Yeah, the on post car/hobby shop will have any tools you don't. And normally the guys working there are gear heads who can offer advice. Rental on a bay is pretty cheap too.

    Flowmaster exhaust, 3" Old Man Emu lift, Konig Countersteer Rims, and too much more.
    Is there a lighter off road front bumper and/or winch I can use with 885s? I know the heavier bumpers are supposed to require 886 springs, but I'm wondering if there is something built lighter without compromising too much strength.

    All Pro Apex is made from aluminum, or you can get steel like mine. Same design.

    Eric @ Relentless makes aluminum bumpers and will be making mine.
    It will have a receiver in it so I can mount the winch front or rear & don't have to carry the weight of the winch on the front at all times.

    Yeah, i've used them in the past but not for anything like this. Usually just oil changes or a brake job. Pretty cheap. I think they have daily rates too if you're going to need it for that long.....haven't used one in a few years.

    Watched a guy rebuild a car at the one on Schofield. I did a lot of work on my 67 Ghia while I was there.

    yeah, pretty close. Sep 99 until Aug 02 for me. Was a lot of fun, weather was always awesome. Island got a little small after a while but i'd still like to go back!

    Here's a shot of mine. 885's, Sport Shocks on a Double Cab 4x4, Avid light bar, no differential drop. Looks reasonable to me based on others I've seen on here.

    Tough to tell but that looks anywhere from 10-15. I used a roofer square with a spacer to get it set on the upper CV and get a reading. Tight fit.

    it can be done, I did my lift by myself. the dakars are heavy and awkward but I got it done with one floor jack & two jack stands. just eat your wheaties & you'll be good to go.
