I'm thinking about the Icon AAL 1.5" kit to rehfresh my 3 year old TSB springs...but it seems like one should just go with with a new Dakar kit.

Do the Dakars require for the axel to be shimmed?

Depends on your set up and angles. I shimmed mine. But a lot of people don't do it

This thread sold me on the Dakar springs and made me finally sign up so I can post for this question!

Has anyone redone the rear suspension with this new leaf pack and OME rear shocks but kept the stock front coilovers and added a 3” strut spacer to save on the $$?
Is there anyone with experience with the OME 90021 shocks and 885 coils that can say I really should replace the front instead of just adding a spacer in combo with the Dakar and shocks on the back?

    Thanks!

Hey ordered the newer model 095 with the 885, but they ended up sending me the old discontinued model CS047 so I gave them a try. A month later I called them to get the 095 since the ca047 got really squeaky. Now that I have the new ones is way better. It rides super smooth and the squeaking is gone. Regarding the front springs, I decided to get the 885 without spacer (2.25 lift) because the stock spring with spacer will preload the spring and lower the quality on the ride plus will reduce your the travel on your suspension. Hope this helps
