Could someone with nitrocharger sports, 881s, v6 and a stock or tube (light) bumper give me their hub to fender measurement? Pictures of lca and/or cv angles would be great as well.

I have nitrocharger sports and 880's with a 3/4 in spacer currently and it seems like my front end is lower than it should be, like its sagging.

I am currently sitting on BFG AT 265 75 R16 tires and they rub the hell out of my fender flares and frame on full lock. Im wondering if replacing the front coils with OME 881 will help fix the issue. Im looking next year to upgrade to the new KO2 tires, same size.

Drop bracket lift and booger welds
Only thing that fixes rubbing the frame is properly BS wheels or wheel spacers. Pushing them out more will make you rub the pinch weld/plastic more but that's what a BFH/knife is for. Lift isn't for fixing rub because you will still rub at full stuff.

So, the 881 and 882's can hold the same amount of weight, just the 882 is taller and will provide a little more of lift?

Im eventually going to get a full OME kit. What coils should I go with for max lift? I'm gonna have a bumper before new suspension

It's got to be spacers or wheel offset that's the problem, not the stock suspension. My 1st gen also had BFG AT 265 75 R16's when I bought it and they didn't rub anywhere. It was on stock wheels and suspension. I don't know if 881's will fix the problem but they certainly won't make it worse.

Hey new to the forum, seems like a good website! Just installed some used ome cs019r springs and 881s up front with 5100 shocks all around. Going to put 33x10.5 15s on in from my other Toyota pickup. Just wondering what you guys do to correct driveshaft angle? Axle shims or driveshaft carrier bearing spacer

I bought some 3* axle shims from wheelers off-road when I installed my CS019r springs. My angles look a bit better than yours but i could have gone with a 4* or 5* is my guess

Start with a 4° axle shim, you want that shaft straight with the pinion. If the 4° shim isn't enough, then drop down the carrier bearing until it is straight.

Anyone know how to find bushing part numbers for the top plates of strut?

Stuff and things that make it better.
Yep, it helps if you have the strut part number N91S.

I have a 2002 regular cab Tacoma with the 2.7L engine, and I do not know whether to go with the 880 or 881 OME coils... What do you guys think? I'm going for a 2-2.5" lift, but I don't have any armor up front, so I'm not sure if the lighter engine and no armor will cause the 881s to give too much lift for my situation...

I'm looking to haul a couple dirt bikes in the back of my truck....do you guys think the dakars alone will be enough? I have stock leafs right now with an AAL, and it sags quite a bit with just one dirt bike in the back.
I wouldn't mind a bit of rake when the bikes aren't loaded up.

I've been picking up 1 yard loads of mulch and my dakars are barely flexing. That should be 700 lb or so

In a week or so theres going to be a set of nitrocharger sports with 880's and 3/4 in spacers up for sale. They have less than 10k on them. Ill be able to post pics and decide in a price once theyre off my truck.

Alright thanks! I was just worried that my regular cab PLUS the 4 cylinder might cause me to end up differently than an extra cab, but I think I'll go with the 881s

I didn't want any lift so I bought the 880's for the least amount. I have no armor. Just a stock 2004 RC 4X4 with the 2.7. They are plenty stiff for me with the Nitrochargers and I wouldn't see a problem with a heavier bumper or even a winch but I really don't know for sure. They said about 1" of lift with the 880's but since my stock suspension was 10 years old I'd say I got more than that, I didn't measure before and after but I noticed a huge difference in the height. I'd guess a good 2".
I just took a fairly long trip in mine and had it weighed on the way back. The scale ticket said 4200lbs and some change in a RC/2.7/4X4. I didn't have any sag at all front or rear that I could see. I have the 880's with the Nitrochargers up front and Deaver J-59's with Nitrochargers out back. I couldn't even tell I had any weight in the truck by the way it handled or the very light off-roading I did with that weight. It just road smoother in the rear. No difference in feel up front. The 880's feel plenty stiff for me and I'm very glad I didn't go with the 881's. For more lift though. I guess you will have to. As short as an RC is I just couldn't see the point of lifting more than I had to for what I do. Then I'd have to deal with CV angles, drive shaft angles, vibrations and that kind of a nightmare I don't have time for. As it is my Taco will go anywhere I want to go within reason. Where it won't go I don't need to go and if I want to beat it, it will go where I don't even want to go.
I know custom stuff like Kings are superior but I can't really find any complaints with the OME and Deavers for my DD and mild off roading with light loads 99% of the time.

I've gone through as many pages of this thread as I can; and I'm wondering if I'm correct that a full OME system with 882s and Dakars without AAL will make an 01-04 doublecab prerunner v6 sit level? I'm in the beginning stages of planning a suspension refurb on my 02 and I really dont want to lift the truck but it seems as though Dakars are the best option and I'm really not a fan of rake, I dont tow anything ever. If anyone has pics of their DC prerunner (I dont know how much weight the 4x4 system will lower the front) v6 with the 882s and dakars, that wouldn't mind posting up, it would be appreciated!
