Probably an odd place for a first post, but I just installed the OME CS046RA/RB leaf combo on my 98 on Friday.

You may have this sorted out by now, but the OMESB89 is the correct bushing set for installation with our existing shackles.
I think once you get the correct springs, you will find that it all fits together as it expected.

Hope you get it worked out.
It really sucks to tear something apart, then find out you have the wrong stuff!

Appreciate the post! I called low range and they are sending out the correct springs and I asked about the bushings and they stated exactly what u said so I should be good to go once it all gets here. Kinda wished I actually looked at the kit back in April when I got it. Lol

So I've tried to read up on the OME lift for my 2003 Tacoma Double Cab 4wd. I have an ARB bumper and winch and it is sagging pretty bad and the rear springs are pretty much shot. I'm planning to get the Dakars for the rear with Nitrochargers. My question is should I do 882s up front with the top plate spacer or just get 883s. I'm mostly gonna be doing trail riding and DDing. I would like the truck to have a little rake. What do the experts say?DSCN2849.jpg

883s are the same size lift as 881s just stiffer for more weight. The 882 will give the most lift but will hold more weight than 881s but less than 883s

I went with 882s for a v6 with a plate bumper and eventually a winch

882 or 883, forget the top plate spacer, it causes more harm than good.
With that bumper and winch and double cab, I'd maybe lean towards the 883.

I've only had my 881s and 5100 for about a year, lots of gravel and bumpy fields at high speed, daily driving, and weekend wheeling, when these sag and time has gone by, I'll definitely consider 882 or 883s.

To correct the info http://cruiseroutfitters.com/tech_OME_coils.html OME coils all have 500lb spring rate. Length is the only difference.
2880,2881 and 2882's are the full part numbers.

That chart shows a spring rate of 103 N/mm for the 883s and 88 for the other two...
