Thank you. I decided to go a different route. Ordered a couple 3/8" spacers. Going to throw them in and call it a day.

 

What does vvv mean?

What length shocks are everyone running with their Dakars in the rear stock location? I'm thinking of going with the 5125's for now, I just want to get as much flex out of these leafs as possible.

Same here. Also is your rear suspension a little more stiff than the front or just me?

 

id say my front is stiffer than rear

 

What coils do you have in the front? and any weight in the bed?

 

883's, have camper shell but rarely carry much weight

 

I ordered 882's hopefully they ain't that stiff

 

There are not they have a lower spring rate so they compress easier.

Or you were being sarcastic and all ready knew that.

Will OME leafs really do 3” of lift? Im trynna replace my OEM ones with new ones and I’m Comparing with J59 leafs from deaver. I want to pair them with 881s and 5100s and would like to stay under those 3 inches because I’m not trynna do any off roading and I’m not gonna add any weight to it other than the fiberglass tonoue I have already. It’s a 98 2.7 4x4.

You’ll probably get about 2 1/2” of lift, @TheDamaso. I got about 2 1/4” with a camper shell on. You can also remove a leaf on each side if you want.

What have you noticed with similar setup.

 

I've got the J-59's on my 2004 RC 2.7 4X4. You'll get some lift. They say 1.5". My stock leaves were really shot and I never measured height before or after. I'll say this, with 880's up front and Nitrochargers all around mine has a slight rake with the shell and an empty bed. It needs at least 300 lbs to sit level with the front. I've got 880's up front. I got quite bit of lift compared to the stock (I'd say at least 2"), worn out stuff but have zero drive line vibrations and zero CV problems after 2 years.

 

You shouldn't but not knowing your motor rig is hard to say. On my 04 double cab v6 I have never had any issues with it.

 

My rear heavy duty Dakar’s feel a bit soft when coming into ditches etc. . I’ve got a shell, steel rear bumper, tire swing and full size spare as well as roof rack and awning so it’s got a 300 pound constant load without gear. Feel like I bottom out in he rear quite a bit. Not sure how old the ome suspension is.. looks to be at least a few years old.. other than that it’ handles well
