I bought the spacers but didn’t install, wish I would’ve. Would like to have just that bit more of lift. Seems like trouble now

    I've got an '02, and an '03.

Does look like their price has gone up a little bit now. It's $1135 now. They do have a few good discount codes throughout the year.

    None, yet...
Im planning to go OME... I have a 1996 Tacoma reg cab with an ARE camper on the bed. Right now i have bilstein 5100s front and rear set to the second setting with stock coils and leafs with a 1" toytec AAL. So far I am planning on getting OME 2883s to install on my 5100s on the second setting and OME Dakars in the rear. Anything else I should get? Longer shackles? Lift blocks? spacers? I want to clear some bigger wheels and get the truck higher off the ground in general. any help would be great. ive been asking everywhere and getting nothing.

    heres my truck

The OME Greasable shackles are nice. Just say NO to the blocks and spacers. Because of the cap and any added weight (definitely do if you'll be +200lbs), order with an AAL. With an AAL, you'll need longer u bolts. Even if not going the AAL route, still order new u bolts. Should never re-use them (imo only of course ).

883s are recommended for double cab v6 with armor up front. Way too stiff for the regular cab from what I’ve been told by Wheeler’s. I’m running dakars and 880s with nitrocharger shocks all around.

882s would be softer than the 883, if you really want as much lift as possible. Might fuck your CV axles though. >3” is the sweet spot on these things

Cant tell you on the spring preference since im heavyweight.

If you get a longer shackle it will help with your spring travel and the ride, just dont go overkill or it gives bad axle wrap. It doesn't look like you are hauling much weight. If you put a 1in body lift on and upgrade the bolts and bushings, it will help you clearance wise. You could also end up moving cross members and new motor mounts to lift all that to flat belly the bottom.

    Where are you located.

If I put an OME 883 and nitrocharger setup on the front I should have around 2.5” I’ve been told. I have a xtra cab v6 with a 80lb trail gear front bumper, might be putting a 70lb winch on. What will I need to add to make the rear level? I was thinking 1.5” but not sure. Also don’t know if I want AAL or shackle. 99% of the time I’m unloaded and don’t want the AAL to make it rough and rowdy.

I don’t know that anyone makes them for 1st gens

Edit: I’m an idiot. Thought a Downey shackle was a different kind of shackle. Carry on.

Consider 882s if you have the ARB bumper.

See what @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc recommends...

The kit comes with an extended line for the rear. Honestly, it's debatable if you need it. Also, why remove one of the leafs from the pack? Just order the kit with 882s, have them assemble the coilovers, good to go.

I like the ride a lot, it’s not sketchy at all without the sway bar. The Dakars greatly improved the on-road handling as well.

I installed the full packs even though I was worried they’d ride harsh. But fortunately they don’t. They’re really flexy and ride fine even with an empty bed. If anything they might sag a little bit more than I’d like with the shell on and my camping stuff in the bed.

Anyone have any pictures of 881’s on a 4wd DC? I have a set of 881’s on the way and I’m trying to determine if I want to use any top plate spacers. Center hub to fender measurements would also be great!
