OME 881 springs with 3/8 spacer. SCS SR8 16x8 Gunmetal 285/75/16 Yokohama G003 Nitros all 4 corners. Dakar rear leafs. Deckplate mod. Marlin Crawler 1200lb clutch. Redline hood struts. ECGS clam shell bearing. Philips LED headlights. Front Runner bed bars. Katskinz leather interior.
If you haven't done the clam shell bushing from ECGS I highly recommend it.

    Great looking truck!

Thanks! I’ll have to look into that. It helps with driveline vibration??

This bushing replaces driver's side needle bearing on CV axle, and helps with vibration and shaft float common on these differentials.

Does anyone know if the additional 10mm spacer can be installed by just taking the 3 bolts off top of strut perch in front or does the spacer go in between the actually spring and top hat assembly?
I want to go with 881’s and Dakars in back no spacers no add a leaf. If I have a change of heart due to too much rake I don’t want to have to disassemble the strut to add spacer. So hoping it’s easy to add???

the spacer goes above the top hat. Between the top hat and the coil bucket, or perch as you called it. You'll need to request longer studs in order to use it. If you decide not to use the spacer, you can still keep the longer studs, they won't interfere with anything.

Okay cool. So I should be able to just slip it in without any disassemble later on sounds like since on top of strut assembly correct?

And I assume the bolts that come with these are the extended ones?

Yes, but the coil assembly will need to be disassembled to get the longer studs in place.
You should be able to order it pre-assembled, with the extended studs, then you can add or remove the spacer as needed.
Mine originally came from Toytec here in Colorado, and they installed the longer studs right from the start.

Here's a shot of mine, I ditched the spacer and opted for the 882's instead.
But you can see it doesn't hurt anything to have the extra thread up there.

Ohhh okay cool, I got it now
So I’ll just have to request when assembled to have the longer studs used Incase the add on of 10mm spacer to make things easier if I add it. Got it
I appreciate the help and the visual there! Awesome!

I swapped my 881’s for 883’s today and it was a pretty fun job. I used my floor jack to decompress/compress the springs onto the strut.

I have a question for y’all. Any idea on the torque spec for the center strut bolt? I gave it a good-n-tight for now.

Looks great! How much did that bring your front end up? I've got an ARB and considering the same swap. Thanks

It did not have a unlock nut!

    Thank you!

I did not take measurements

I didn’t get much lift from the 881’s even without the plate bumper. 1.5” max, though people claim close to 1.5-2”. The 883’s gave me prob another inch? I also swapped from my 31” tires to my 33’s at the same time, so I’m at a loss haha

are the nitrochargers + 881 + the leaf pack too stiff if im keeping everything else pretty much stock?

That bumper is looking good! So now that you have 883’s you guna add a winch:) ??

I’m currently running 882’s and about to add a winch and skids. I’m interested in how much the springs will compress. Depending on the ride I might got to 883’s

    Thanks :D

Im planning to add a winch, but that prob won’t be until next year. I have a skid to throw on now that I got an alignment, but the springs will prob still ride a little stiff even with that extra weight . I rode around a couple days with the 881’s and the bumper and it was Cadillac smooth.
