OME Dakar leaf pack to replace stock leafs + Broken AAL's + long shackles with hardly any bushings.
Ride feels the same, but I need to do the OME-D43XL AAL to beef up the pack for the weight I have in the back. I wasn't really thinking I met the criteria for the extra leaf but after getting it off the stands it squatted down quite a bit and feels soft.

It squatted quite a bit. If you could put a stick on pad on the upper overload leaf and flip it, you'd gain some more load handling. As it is, I'd find some way to beef it up and/or possibly lighten the continual load on it.

Looks good and I do enjoy seeing those soft toppers. How is the wind noise on the highway with it?

I see Wyoming plates. Are these pics in Wyoming? Curious to the amount of snow that could be on the ground in that neighborhood? I get snow every 6 years or so here and maybe 1" will stick until the sun gets high noon and the yard becomes a mud hole. Wet snow is not good for working in.

Yeah I love the soft toppers. It isn't loud on the highway, but my truck isn't exactly quiet to begin with.

Yep I am in Wyoming. We can get quite a bit of snow each year. No snow on the ground right where I live, but there is still about 5 feet up in the mountains just to the west of me.

Hey yall! I have a 96 3rz Auto Extended Cab and wanna do the rear leafs. Only thing is I don't want to lift it too high, only about 1.5" if possible. It looks like the only set for my truck is the CS019R but I've seen those lift trucks an insane amount. Would I be better off with a CS018R which is for a regular cab?

I usually drive with the bed empty. Occasionally move motorcycles here and there.

Thanks! The info on the early models is pretty hard to find

So technically speaking 882s should give the highest ride height since they’re longer? Without bumper/winch.

882 should be taller than 881 or 883 on a stock weight rig.

If you have lots of weight, the slightly lower spring rate on the 882 might allow it to compress more than the 883, which has a higher (i.e. needs more weight to compress) spring rate. The 882 is 20mm longer than 881 and 883, but 883 is about 15% higher spring rate. I'm honestly not sure the math on springs. I'd call the vendor and ask. Lots of people seem really happy with the advice from Wheelers or Headstrong

Mfgr. PN Rate (N/mm) Coil dia. (mm) Spring hight (mm)
    OME 2880 88.0 16 365
    OME 2881 88.0 16 375
    OME 2882 88.0 16 395
    OME 2883 103 17 375

Thank you! I ordered 883s with the possibility that I might get the trail gear tube bumper later this year and it’s 100lbs. I wouldn’t do a winch. Also want as much height I can get.

I can tell you right now that I did exactly what did. I haven’t ordered my bumper yet and it’s been two years roughly. These coils will ride like a wagon and I’d keep a eye on your inner cv boots. When I lifted mine I had original CVS and it pull the inner boot up. I tried re clamping them and it didn’t work so I had to get new reman CVS. I’m also a double cab too FWIW.

You got 883s? Ya I’m starting to consider calling wheelers and seeing if they can switch to 882s before they ship

Yeah I got 883 for my double cab. They have settled a wee, but it def needs some weight up front for sure. Doesn’t help I have E load Toyo open country’s on my ride either. But I’ve only put 10k on it in the 5 years I’ve owned it.

Just called wheelers and switched to 882s. Perhaps I’ll switch to 883s when I’m positive about a bumper
