Called and talked to Matt. Everything was in-stock. Fronts need to be assembled w/882 coils, Dakars, no AAL, ext brake lines, U-bolts, etc.

Thank You for recommending I contact them. Calling on the phone, makes a difference.
Mat said about a week out to build the (coils) kit, then it would ship.

Did you ask him for the TW discount? lol. Not sure if they are still doing it. Call him back and ask. Tell him TacomaWorld sent you and Josh (guy I placed my order with - he was awesome to deal with) has helped out many of us.

Thought about starting a new thread but decided to try here first since I couldn't find any existing threads, does anyone have pictures and or experience running the Dakars with and without the extra leaf or could point me in the direction of someone who does, I'm planning to order a set from Wheelers but not sure whether to order with the extra leaf or not and I just want some input before I decide.

So with my 02 double cab, I initially ordered without the AAL. Kit arrived and I installed. Immediately noticed a slight droop in the back with my Leer 100, rack and assorted load in the bed. Drove with it for a bit and it just bugged the hell out of the OCD. Touched base with Josh @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc and the info I received back from him was anything with an additional 220+ lbs, get the AAL. It's also on the product page. Ordered the AAL, pulled the packs, installed. PITA but satisfied with results. upload_2021-3-10_16-32-22.jpg

    Nice Truck, Sir!!

I get what you're saying, and I can relate.
I already have an AAL in the back that I can use, if necessary.
Once the kit arrives, I may be seeking input from you and others.
I am mechanically incline, and have the tools, but I don't claim to be a mechanic!!

Okay that helps I was first wondering about that cause I have a canopy + a rack on daily and then pretty frequently towing a boat and or loading the truck up with gear for extended camping trips. So with that though, what are you running for a lift up front and how does it level out? I'm running 5100's on the second setting, and I'm okay with more of a raked look as it'll settle when loaded down but I'm not into that shit they do down in Carolina lol.

OME 881 coils paired with OME Nitrocharger Sport shocks. The stance is fine. Completely satisfied with how it sits.

Well I hit up Cruiser Outfitters to purchase the full OME lift kit. He said he'll check availability and get back to me, buuuut it's been a few hours and now they're probably closed.

Wheelers took care of me the other day.
I was told my coil build would likely take a week to get finished, so that gives you an idea of their load of orders being taken.

Just gives you more time to think about what else you want to ADD to the order... :boink:

Hey, new here so sorry if I missed the answer. I recently acquired a 95.5 single cab 4x4 3.4 5spd manual transmission and am considering the ome setup but not finding a definitive answer. No extra weight looking for a smooth ride and about 2.5-3 lift. I expect to change out front and rear springs as they are both shot. I just don't want to end up doing so and end up not level requiring additional parts. Thanks

Get the full kit from wheelersoffroad. The 882 coils will give you the ~2.5-3 inch lift but will not be as smooth as the 881s which only provide I think 1.5 inch of lift. But even the 881 don’t give you a Cadillac ride. Don’t bother with 883s if you don’t have a bumper up front.

I was talking to the sales rep at CruiserOutfitters and he said the 882's would be perfect for a bumper winch combo, and the 883's for something heavier.
