None for me. Wait until you're done and drive it. You'll know if something is wonky.

My 1st Gen is currently resting on Jack Stands, wheels off.

I thought I was ahead of the game. I went to Tractor Supply, and bought 4/3-Ton Jack Stands.
What a joke. I had to stack 5 /2x10 blocks under them to get up to the frame rails. The rear axle took 3 /2x10 blocks under the Jack Stands.
Not complaining, but it's cheezy. I saved the boxes. I may return them when I finish the lift.

The inner CV Boots, both sides need replaced. I'm looking for a quality kit, to replace both boots on each side. I plan to do the Boot Slide Mod.
    @Timmah!
(Thanks. You were very thorough and meticulous, which I can appreciate.)

All the nuts and bolts have been cleaned off with a stiff brush, then sprayed twice with KROIL.
Tracking says my OME Kit should arrive Tuesday.

Meanwhile, should I buy OEM Boot Kits as replacements?
Or is there a better option by getting Aftermarket?

FYI: If you need another source for OME kits, I purchased two kits over the last 6yrs, both from OK4WD, and the shipping was super quick, and the price was the lowest I could find.

    My OME kit arrived today.
Seeing all the pieces in front of me, holy cow.
The kit was delivered in four pieces.
Everything was packed very well protected.
The shocks were wrapped with very heavy paper, then all shrink wrapped. They were also inside a very well-packed box.
I got the front shocks installed, the wheels on, and lowered the front down.

Prior to installing the front coils the height, center of axle, to the fender flare was at 38".
After the OME coils were installed, the passenger side sits at 40-7/8", and driver's side Is 40-1/4". That's almost 3" of additional height.

That 3" is pretty impressive to me.
That height also makes me somewhat leery about how this is going to be on my CVs.

    Below has been resolved
The decar leaves I've got a question on.
One leaf pack has a "+"
One leaf pack has a "0"
Can somebody knowledgeable with these leaf packs tell me what leaf spring goes on what side of the truck?

There used to be an A or B at the end of the part number on the leaf.. do they not do that anymore?

The + just means it tested slightly higher than spec, but still within range. 0 means it test right at spec. A - minus would be lower, but still within spec

I ordered two new Extended Travel CV Axles (TO8043ET) today. They should be here by Monday.
The originals will get cleaned up and rebooted for spares.
Tomorrow, the Dakar Leaf Packs get installed.

So I got the fronts put on. Took about 25 minutes.
I could already see the difference. :D

I've never done rears before on a truck so I'm taking my time. I had to stop though cause of plans. I got as far as taking both shocks off, getting one leaf spring off, and changed the brake line.

So far no hiccups. *crosses fingers*

Yes it's an extended brake line. It's a few inches longer than stock. It came with my kit from Wheeler's and I can't remember the brand at the moment but I'll check when I get home.

My fronts have been on for days. Easy peasy. I gained 3" of lift, above and beyond the spacer lift I took out. The front went from 38" to fender well, to 41".
The rear was a struggle, even though my son helped. The leafs, shackles are in place, but I need to go get new Front Hanger bolts.

The U-Bolts, I sucked them down semi-tight (All even amounts of threads beyond the nut) then beat on the top portions with a hammer, to settle them.
My thought behind this, the harmonics move the U-bolts more to center of the shock hanger plate. Then tighten the nuts some more. Rinse/Repeat.
    The U-Bolts will center themselves.

    Notes and comments.

I unbolted all the hard brake lines, then pulled them up off the rear-end by the main junction.
Tomorrow = New Front hanger Bolts.
    Install extended Brake Line.
    Bolt the shocks on.
    Torque everything to spec.
    Mount the wheels.

    This is my only concern.
The rear-end, Driveshaft --To-- Carrier Bearing "angle" is very steep.
(The weight of the truck is not on the leafs yet.)

New, Extended Travel CV's are in route.

    More to follow....

Short of- I need to have the tailpipe, I cut off cause I was getting PISSED, getting the passenger side leaf pack into place, re-welded, and brakes bled, I'm done with the lift install.
I took it for a test drive down the highway and around town. Everything seems OK.

Just finished myself. The exhaust didn't bother me. I had 0 hiccups. Great product, I didn't need anything else and I had no extras.
