What brand are your wheels? Maybe I can look up with tech info and try and match it up with what I need. Thanks for the help.

Offset matters, but it don't. You will need to find wheels with less backspacing like 4" or less.

The offset numbers are dependent on the width of the rim. A -6 mm offset on an 8" wide rim equates to ~4.25" of backspacing which would clear the UCA.

Again, wheelers with the candy! I better get a few bucks off my next purchase or extra candy. Haha. You'll love that setup. I need to get the 10mm plate since I put my bumper on. Especially before I install a winch.

    Hello,

I sent an email to wheelers a few days ago asking about part numbers in the OME COMPTACO 98-04 kit but haven't heard anything back from them. Was mostly interested in if they might sub 880 springs in for the 881's (website seems to indicate they might) and what which rear springs (assuming 046R a/b)/shackles/etc come with it? Looked like they ship their own bushings instead of OME in the kit, so was curious. Was going to order from cruisers but if wheelers doesn't charge shipping they were looking to be $210 cheaper or so.

They'll give you whatever springs you want for the kit and definitely charge shipping. It's close to 200 pounds on a pallet for the complete kit with leaf springs so it isn't cheap to ship.

Not too happy with the Dakar leaf springs. They are a bit flat and not quite as stiff as I wanted. How much extra lift do the AALs give? Ill have ~200 extra lbs in the rear when wheeling.

The Dakars are designed to sit flat. The product documentation is listed somewhere in this thread. Gives them a better ride and flex.

Get the AAL. Seems like everybody that doesn't put it on initially ends up adding it later. I'm not sure how much extra lift they give as I put it in from the get go, but I'm happy with them. Camping I always have about 200lbs in the bed not counting my the weight of my shell. Rides great and handles the weight of a regular weekend camping trip just fine.

Im sorry but these things make the truck feel like a fat women jumping on a waterbed (I may need new front shocks, these are racking up the miles ). Im going to get the AAL but need to know how much lift so I can get new shackles. Probably will have to stick with stock height shackles...

I'd guess 1" but not sure. I'm running toytec adjustable shackles too. 1, 1.5 or 2" settings on them. I'm at 2" because I like some rake.

I think the AAL is 3/4" after it settles. That's what some people say on here.

Stuff and things that make it better.
My AAL gave me almost an inch after it settled.
