ome 881 coil question

    getting there....
    got my ome 881 coils in today, for the new suspension install this weekend, and i asked Jason at wheelers how they tell which side is the driver side....he said they stand them up, and the taller one is the driver side. but, when i took them outta the ome box and stood them up, they look the same to me. anyone got any idea how i can tell for sure..........i dont wanna get them on and the driver side have sag to it.

    I don't think they're side specific. I had 881's on my 96 tacoma when I owned it - and I didn't install them in any paticular side.

    No worries.....go ahead and install everything. If the truck leans - you can easily remove the coil/strut assembly and swap them side to side.

    Old thread, but did you have to swap them around? Any leaning issues?

    nope....no swapping necessary, and i dont have any lean at all.
