    I'm looking at changing the lift on my 2011 TRD Sport DCLB with no extra weight on the front. I currently have Bilstein 5100s at 1.75" and would like to increase the front lift to 2.5", I like to do this with OME springs but not sure which to purchase. I've read several different threads on this where other members are saying they are getting close to 2.5" of lift with the 885 springs and 887 springs are for 3" of lift. What is confusing is when you go to order either of these springs it says the 885 springs will give 1.75"-2" of lift and the 887 springs will give 2"-2.25" of lift. So looking for some advice on which to purchase and if you could include a picture of how it looks on your truck.

    IMG_1163.jpg I got 1.75 with 885's on 5100's at zero. I put .5 spacers on top and got 2.5 exactly. Go with 887's or do what I did.IMG_1085.jpg

    887's will give you 3 inches of lift as that is what I have on my DCLB

    265/70/17. I'm going to get bigger in a week or so. I have been doing way more off roaming than I thought I would. Ordering BP-51's this week.

    My truck with OME 887's on 5100's with ICON 2.0 shocks in the rear and the ICON 3 leaf progressive AAL in the back. Also have Camburg UCA's up front, ball joint type.

    The front is not noise high it's just the pic. The front is actually about 1/2 inch lower

    How much lift up front did you get? I always thought 885s got you 2.5" but I might be wrong...

    I like that a lot. A whole lot. You run into any issues with that setup? Looking to go with more lift than my 884s are giving me and I might just go up to the 887s since I'm getting UCAs

    885 = 2.5"
    887 = 3"

    Assuming no weight.

    Here is how 887 looks on 30" tires (265/70/16) with Dakars in rear.

    If you haven't had the Needle Bearing vibe yet you probably will once at 3 inches. Once you lift the rear some have vibes with the carrier bearing, and you might need axle shims as well.

    I have OME 887s with 5100s. Wanted to get the full 3 inches without using the top plate spacers. Theyve settled a tad under 3" after 5k miles, pretty much level. Only vibe issues were fixed by road force balancing the KO2s. Seems to be a trend. IMG_3465.jpg

    If we are going with initial install #'s I got 2-5/8". After a week of driving it settled to 1.75". I think the settled number is more real world.

    Wish I went 887 from the start, although I have Dakar leaf springs which adds a bit of height to the rear.
