FS: Dakar EL096R heavy duty version. I’ve got the AAL as well, never installed that. They’re a little dirty, but in good shape. I dropped all the weight I was carrying so I went to a lighter pack.

    Located: Martinsburg, WV.

    Price: $200 picked up.

I’m not sure yet, but I’m hoping sometime in the next 3-4 weeks.

Can anyone give me some tips on adding a leaf to a leaf pack? i have the medium duty dakar leaf pack and then im AAL. I have some extra squeak pads and a longer center pin on the way. My main question would be where do I add that extra leaf? Im thinking the AAL would go in the 3rd position? Not really sure.

Ill also note my leaf pack is not installed on the truck.

I think you will see once you have it all. It will fit right between the next biggest and next smallest. I think in my current setup its the second position.

Do i also need some sort of pad for the middle of the leaf springs? I have the new leaf pack and noticed some square pads in between each spring. Im wondering if I need this when im adding the extra leaf spring. These are different from the circular squeak pads inserts.
