OME Dakar mediums + extra leaf same as heavy's?

    You sir are correct.
    I don't see it being an issue either.
    I do wish I would have put the shorter ones under the top spring though.

    you mind if I ask what size those U bolts are? About to install the same AAL and im thinking ill need new U Bolts as well

    8-1/4" I think.
    Same ones that come with the medium.
    The leaf only adds like 3/8" or so.
    Either way, never reuse u-bolts once they are torqued once they are done.
    Some might say it's fine but not me.
    $50 is cheap insurance to avoid having my axle laying on a trail in the the mountains. Lol

    ive retorqued my u bolts twice now. I know technically you are supposed to replace them but the combination of me being a broke college student and the fact i haven't done any gnarly trails for a couple of months now makes it difficult to pull the trigger on a new set. But yeah if you think about it as insurance, it sure is more enticing!:spending:

    Ubolts are generic and not vehicle specific as long as you get the right size.
    You can for sure find them cheaper if you feel like looking but here are some for $30.
