First let me say Ive read the entire thread from headstrong on the new OME leaf packs.

    Now for the question,

Does anyone have experience with both the ELO95R and EL096R on an empty truck?

I am running a mostly empty DCLB with plans for a shell and drawers. I plan to order the EL096R leafs and either throw em on as is or pull a leaf until I add the weight.

Is the EL096R tolerable empty? or is the EL095R so smooth empty that its worth it to do the work twice?

    Thanks!

I have the hd leak pack an run around unloaded for DD ride is not bad a little stiff but better than stock leafs with aal I had prior. Get the HD it’s 30 more compared if you bought the aal later it’s 50-70 more.

HD is not bad with an empty bed. Just buy it and save the hassle of adding leaves later.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

Follow up question, are you all using the yellow OME bushings or the cheaper ones that wheeler/headstrong sells?

I have the HD pack plus the extra leaf. I have a steel bed rack and rtt normally. When removed, it is stiff but still just fine. I probably get 4+ inches due to the extra leaf (use extended rear brakelines).
