My kit should show up today, around 4pm I think. Am I stupid to think I can get it done tonight? My garage isn't big enough to close the door, and my driveway is slanted, so I either need to work in the street, or have the truck poking out of the garage. Either way, this means I would have to finish it in one go, and not leave it over night. I am antsy to get it installed, but maybe I should leave it till tomorrow when I would have the whole day.

Are you doing UCA? Those take some time. Helps to have a second set of hands for the leaf pack as well. Give yourself lots of separation to get new bigger leaf pack in if you're using jacks on the ground.

It my personal opinion I would wait till tomorrow when you're fresh and not even thinking about having to clean up until it's finished. I've gone 6 hours straight of suspension work and towards the end my arms are shaking (fuck power tools) and I'm way over it. Usually i work on it by myself which makes things a bit more challenging but the dumbest part is my lack of awareness for safety. When dealing with so much weight on preloaddd springs, you really want to be sharp and alert. There's been a couple times when I'm working on my leaf springs and I'm not thinking clearly, when I could have easily chopped a finger off if I wasn't so lucky. I'd say take everything out and read through instructions and get well acquainted with all the parts and your truck today. Then install tomorrow.
    Good luck!

Argh! Fine. I will wait till tomorrow......maybe.

Not doing UCA, just the 887's and HD Dakar's in the back, as recommended by @HeadStrong Off-Road

Correct, I went with the spring/strut assembly option.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
    This

If they're assembled, the shocks take little time at all.

I found the dakars to be the bigger pain in the butt.

Yep. Have a good set of line up pins. Rubber mallet helps too.

Shit yeah you could do it in one night. Start with the rear as that's what will generally give you trouble, and if you have time do the front too. You have a 2016 so none of your shit should be rusted. I've worked into the dark before.

    Thanks for the responses!

So, this may be a stupid question, but I could do the rear, then just pull forward into it's parking spot and close the garage, then resume in the morning, right? I mean, it's not like having the HD leaf pack in the back and stock suspension in the front won't allow it to roll 15 feet forward

I'd wait just in case something happens.

You'd be fine, you'll just have Tundra stock rake until you do the front LOL :rimshot:

    This is my rule:

    * 1st time doing a job, estimate total time. Multiply by 3.
    * 2nd time: X 1.5

remove all lug nuts except one, and leave it on loose. Either kick it, or tap the sidewall with a mallet/sledge hammer. It'll pop free
