Anyone on here ran the OME lift with top plate spacers and NO diff drop. Any CV issues?

so far, URD throwout bearing kit(sleeve), weathertechs, 285/70/17's on Ion 17x9 and OME 885s and Dakars and nitro sports. BHLM
don't bother with the diff drop. just go to eastcoastgearsupply.com and order the front diff bushing to replace your diff needle bearing and you'll be great. I'm running OME 885's but no top plate spacers other than 1/4" on driver side to correct the lean. The diff drop does not do much diff dropping to amount to anything. The diff bushing is to correct your vibrations which you will have after that much lift.

The differential drop is pretty much worthless on 2nd gen tacomas. Doesn't do much of anything.

I have the full OME set-up with 1/4" top plate spacers. No issues yet but I've only got about 13-14,000 miles on it now.

There's a long thread where one member hit a rock and destroyed a bunch of stuff because of the drop. That's kind of rare but I've also seen talk about how it doesn't really drop it straight down and you could be exposing some internals that were once submerged in oil.

I have been to 2 Off-Road Specialty shops looking into the OME lift and neither one of them would put it on (Pretty much refuse to).
Just My 2 cents coming from 4 cents from 2 different people.
