If you’re carrying 50 lbs of TP you want the heavy duty pack bro. :D

I think you’ll be happy either way, but I went with the heavy duty and I LOVE the ride. I don’t have a lot of weight in the truck everyday, but when I do haul stuff it’s heavy. Way I look at it, if you need the heavy later on, buy the AAL and throw it in. Don’t sweat the small stuff & congrats on the new suspension!

I installed medium. I have reg cab with a 300 lb flat bed, rear winch, 100 lbs tool box, and an extra spare tire behind the cab. I went inside and ordered the extra leafs the moment I let it off the jacket ands. I would go with heavy.

I would go heavy right off the bat it’s like 30$ more than the medium. Where as if you get the medium an order the aal it’s 50-70 I believe. I’ve got the HDs an DD I’m unloaded, rides a little stiff but not harsh better than stock w/ an aal I had before. Couple weeks ago had about 600lbs worth of soil an fertilizer it sagged maybe 3/4 in wasn’t bouncy truck was still just as stable unloaded.

That is basically what I'm running (olde rDakars with the 3rd leaf removed). I have some extra weight (shell, rear high clearance bumper, sliders and skids) and I tow various size trailers. The springs work much better than stock and I hit the bump stops way less often now.

I'd recommend getting the HD pack and removing a leaf. Then if you add more weight down the road it's easy enough to put the leaf back in.

The poll didn't even make sense in the first place. He can change it though.

I ended up getting 2.5" in the back with the medium duty Dakar. The 885 springs got me about 2". I was in a rush and didn't write down my measurements this morning. Back is sitting at 24" from center of hub to fender and front is 22.5. Looks to me like it should have come from the factory

Thats pretty much the same spring setup I am going with. They should come from the factory like that, looks awesome mister. Rolling on 265/70r17?

I went with the Medium kit. It rides stiffer than stock but not bad at all. You get used to it. It sits similar to factory rake, and I bought this kit mainly because I tow a boat a lot (2500lbs) and needed something beefier than stock. I love it so far, and am running 265/75-16s.

Looks great and thank you for your personal experience with the kit. Nice truck!

Here he sits stock 19-1/2" from the center of the axle on the front and 21-1/2" on the back ...heck I still have my mud flaps on... for now.20180701_203258_HDR.jpg

    This.

I run the HD's, and while in daily-driver mode I have less than 200lbs in the back. Rides just fine.

22-1/4" on the front and 24" on the back from the axles up and she rides super smooth 885 up front and the Dakar medium leafs in the back. Handles way better than stock. This is how they should come from the factory.
