Yes do it, I love my ride on road and off road with my OME Dakar CS047R Leaf Packs and 5100 Bilsteins. I had my springs installed in 2016 and they still are fantastic in 2019.
The day they were installed. IMG_2071[1].jpg IMG_2079[1].jpg IMG_7030.jpg

I have a camper shell with about 350lbs of constant weight in the back. I had the medium duty springs installed by mistake first, but had the opportunity to drive them for a day. They honestly didn't feel bad, but I'm sure the constant weight would have sagged them before long (as had happened with my stock springs). Now with the heavy duty springs on the ride feel great.

What wheel and tire combo did you end up going with? My 265s are going to be replaced in a bit. Looks good.

    Thank you for the compliment.
I went with 17" Icon Alpha Wheels BFG KO2's 285/70/17's and love them. I did do a BMC and pinch welds also.

Anything less seems to look a less than awesome on these trucks, thanks for being awesome. What back spacing and offset on the wheels and what control arms did you end up going with?

Hey Trev, My wheels are as follows: 17x8.5" Icon Alpha Satin Black Wheels, 6x5.5 Bolt Pattern, 4.75" Backspace, 0mm Offset. I did not need UCA's because I only went up 2 1/2 " with the 885's and 5100's set at 0.

Perfect, a finger width away from the UCA so you are good to go. Looks pretty snazzy.

My meds gave me around 4 inches after install with no weight. Then down to 3.5 after settling without weight. And it's a long bed

Just put Durobump Bumpstops in a few months ago. What a difference! Smooths out the hard smashing bumps and rolling over wash board roads, ditches...etc. Fully loaded with up to 1000 lbs hitting stuff at speed it doesn't bottom out hard or rattle my teeth. Great addition to this setup! Got the fronts to but we are talking about Dakars so here is a picture of the rear bumpstops. They are the 4.25" ones.20190618_200335.jpg
