    Looks sharp!
How’s the ride on this? And what psi do you usually keep your bags at to stay level?

Im looking to maintain my same ride height but make my ride less harsh/stiff.

I have the billies at 1.75 on stock sport coils but it rides stiff and unforgiving. Based on what you are saying the 887’s provide the same lift with billies at ZERO and its a more confortable ride? I have stock bumper and no additional weight in the front.

If you have the 5100 at 1.75 on stock, I would think that the 887 would give you more lift than you are looking to achieve. OME 885 coils are supposed to net around 2.5" of lift. The 887 are supposed to net around 3". My .02 anyhow

Thanks. I keep seeing 1.75 in different posts. I wanna stay where Im at height wise but have a softer ride. Ill probably reach out to headstrong to see what their recommendations are.

What he said. 887s should get you 3in up front. The ride is much smoother than the preloaded 5100s at 1.75.

I think you want the 884 coils. They should be 2in of lift.

Picked my truck up earlier this morning from install. I am extremely impressed with the ride so far. I wasn't able to get the tires on it in order to meet my appointment for alignment. They are going to mount and balance after alignment though.

I had a question with the install and was able to get through to @HeadStrong Off-Road. They immediately transferred me to a tech to diagnose and walk me through the issue. There is a reason that Marie and Headstrong Off-Road is all through this forum! They are extremely good at what they do, and handle everything from questions, to order, to install questions. All in an extremely professional, thorough, and time sensitive manner. I can't say enough good things about the vendor.

I will post some final pics of the lift later today when I pick it up.

I didn’t get any good pictures because it was raining all day. But here Is the final project. I have to remove the front mud flaps today and see if I can modify them before I decide to remove them completely.

I'm looking at getting the same setup on the same year DCSB truck. How's the lift been over the last few months? Any clunking or jarring with smaller bumps\potholes\speedbumps like others report? Looks great!

I am still loving the lift, and the performance of it. I have only been out off-roading once, because i decided i should get armor before proceeding after that run. But it performs well in both driving situations. I have not experienced the speed bump clunk, and I drive a pot-holed/washboard dirt road daily to work.

The suspension is stiffer all around, but the shocks absorb it better than stock. So normal driving i noticed a couple of things.
    1) In a sharp turn there is less body roll, which makes me feel more comfortable with the 255 skinny's.
    2) The rear with Dakars accomplished exactly what I wanted. I haul firewood and stuff occasionally and would always be on my bumpstops before. I couldn't even sit on my tailgate without it dropping a foot. They feel great, and have a lot less sag. I opted for the light pack, but recently added a topper and may add the add a leaf to make it a HD pack once I get a rear bumper.

ONLY ISSUE- SPC UCA are fine and I have no complaint with them at all; however I am still dealing with an alignment issue due to tech incompetence. I highly recommend taking their print out with you. I think I have finally nailed down the issue, and that is typically castor is adjusted with LCA on stock. With the SPC UCA, it is adjustable making it available for adjusting castor. If the LCA keeps the wheel centered in the wheel well, then the UCA is adjusted for castor and camber I should eliminate all rubbing and maybe even get my mudflaps back on.

I highly recommend contacting Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road if you have any questions about set-up. They know their products inside and out, and are extremely familiar with our trucks. Plus they have free shipping and great turn around times.

Good luck and keep me posted when you decide to make the jump.

Good stuff! Thanks for the detail. I've been chatting a bit with Marie as well and she's definitely a wealth of info. Finally getting through the analysis paralysis...

No problem, hope you end up as happy with yours as i did. I have to mention though that I have always had a truck, and drive it as such. If you are looking for a caddy you may be disappointed. It is smooth and comfortable to me, but not as plush and bouncy as stock. The best way i can explain is I used to hit a bump and bounce. If i hit another consecutive bump i would bottom out my suspension. Now it recovers before the next bump. Which is exactly what i wanted.
