Yeah, you can figure on $400 for a good system. The hardest part is installation and plumbing.

This might help (sans the locker plumbing/wiring)

i'm running the viair 450 on my truck. i chose it over the similar viair compressors simply because it has a 100% duty cycle.

^Hey, I know you. How's your boy doin?:)

Yeah, I got a 400c, but I'd love to find some money to replace it with something bigger. Not that I don't like it, or that it's ever been anything but a solid performer...I just want to run air tools w/o a 10 gallon tank or a C02 tank.

First thing will be the stereo and an OBA system so I can get those air horns installed. Giggity!
I always put this off on my old Jeep because I thought it was so very expensive. I already have an air tank (dented, but it doesn't leak and the price is right....free!), plenty of hose and fittings, a valve and a set of air horns found in scrap metal at work. :D Now I need my truck..... I'd be happy having the oba just for that, but it would be nice to be able to fill up a tire if need be. I don't think I'll be doing much off roading but I would like a compressor for the horns. Just don't need a monster for it. I'm thinking a nice cheap one for my purpose....just put it on a switch and put a pressure gauge in the cab. :D
