Okay, I was wondering what ONE thing everyone would add to the STOCK Tacoma (Interior or exterior)? Assuming you could not get it as an option.

My opinion is an MP3 port, something for any mp3 player (I do not like Ipods). I was checking out a Honda Fit the other day and that small little connection would have saved me $70 on a good fm transmitter.

Bug shield, window visors, skid plate, rust proofing, tonneau cover, paint & upholstery protection, side step bars, navigation system.
How about a few things...... Sun roof, heated seats, heated mirrors with turn signal indicator, complete gauge package, better seats, Nav system, premium sound, alarm system, marker lights, a macho horn for god's sake (stock horn is down right sissy), bed light, winch and ARB bull bar. That should keep me happy for a while :D.

MP3 plug in for sure...I can't even get the iPod adapter for my 2005 as the sterio doesn't support it. A power slider rear window for the back glass....realy helps the air flow on hot days but can't reach it on the fly....

I second the sunroof and the power back glass. I really want a sunroof but I'm very leary of aftermarket ones.

Power back window is a good idea. Thats the sole reason my buddy got the Crewmax Tundra instead of the Double cab, Crewmax came with teh power back window, double cab doesnt. But if i could choose one item it wouldnt be a luxury item like that, i would have to say a good winch (surounded by a full brush guard of course :)). If you have a winch you dont need to soup up your truck for the mud. you can go mudding with street tires and then just pull yourself out when you get stuck. I definately would say winch

I'd be all over a power rear window.

Toyota needs to do some serious catching up! It is 2007 and you still sell vehicles that neither play mp3 cds or aux inputs. That's pathetic. I would have left the system alone for a lot longer if it came with the mp3 cd capability.

I have owned only four vehicles including the tacoma. My other three vehicles all had power seats.....driver's side at least. Also a Navigation system woulda been nice!

    #1 MP3 jack
    #2 Heated mirrors
    #3 Powered rear window

The thing is most of the items we have listed would not cost much money for Toyota to put on the truck.

It's probably hella expensive and requires a lot of work. I'd use the window if I could even reach it. That stupid little window is pointless in a double cab. Very few drivers can reach it without pulling a muscle.

I've been disappointed with the lack of mp3 cd and/or aux jack, too. Just yesterday I was wanting to open up that rear window for airflow. I didn't realize anyone make a power rear window, but I thought it'd be a good idea. Those are my top two, and they shouldn't have cost much for Toyota to add.

Yeah but they are all added options, so if your truck was 30k now, it would be even more with those options. it may not cost them alot to do it but they will charge the customer alot for it. The design team doesn't go "hey, this wont cost much to install and we can pass the savings on to the customer!" they say "hey look at this, we can instal an automatic window for only a few bucks and we can raise the price of the truck by $400!"

Just cause its cheap for the company to install doesnt mean its cheap for you to buy...

I'll have the 4.7 please. The 4Runner has it and they are the same chassis. Easily done. But, that's a $35,000 Tacoma...at least.
