The current Limited does not come stock with auto up/down, leather or heated seats. At least the 2015 I sat in didn't... They wanted same price as my 4x4 TRD sport for a 2WD truck with no more bells or whistles... SMDH!

As for final answer for now I am sure it can be done with stock equipment. However to do that one would need to change the master switch on the drivers side, the regulator and the window motor in each door that you want to be auto up/down. Currently I am not sure which regulators and motors will physically fit in our trucks if any will. After all that is done you could find a need for an update/ hack of the ECU. I am not sure about the ECU but I think it can be got around. For me that is a lot of parts and cash for a nice to have. I think I will wait and see if 2016s have this option if they do then the hardware used is our best chance to retro fit this into 2nd gen trucks IMO.

I was doing some searching on the possibilities having all the windows have auto up/down capabilities and was wondering if this was possible or if anyone has figured out a way to do it?

There is an aftermarket solution that you can buy. I have it on mine. I'll see if I can find the name it's been a while

As long as demand for the Tacoma is greater than production capability, or managed production, and "frills" don't seem to be a major factor in the purchase decision, why would Toyota want to lower the price or offer additional features? This is textbook marketing 101. As you are aware, Toyota is not an altruistic endeavor for the benefit of the general public. It is business, a very profitable business that shareholders expect to make money.

Awesome thank you I have been wanting to do this mod to my truck since I bought it. I don't know why Toyota drops the ball on things like this.

I watched a video or two on the system, but they didnt have a lot of details. Would you mind explaining it a little better? I know each one only works for 2 windows. How do you put it all the way down/up vs partial? Where do you mount the box? Does it need an aftermarket security system? Thanks in advance.

Does this conflict with the existing auto-down functionality on the driver window?

So kind of an older thread, but I've tried the 535t, twice, with success at first but then the units all of a sudden failed. What style switch do you believe will be a plug and play for this to work? Also any success on it actually working for the drivers side only? I only care about my window being one touch up/down.
