i have an arris surfboard modem and router and in one and having problem with internet connection. I keep having to reset the modem. Not only that, I keep getting kicked off my ps4 when trying to game. I thought about hard wiring and Ethernet chord but right now it’s not much of an option since my house isn’t wired and it would be a 100ft chord from the modem to ps4. I’m not tech savvy at all when it comes to this so I’m looking for any recommendations. I thought about connecting my old netgear router to it to see if that would help. Other than that, all I can think of is getting another modem and a newer separate router.
