I'm super happy with this wireless setup.
So now that it's dark, figured to re-wire the pod lights just to get an idea of how much light it throws, and for what they're worth (which is dirt) it's pretty good. I'd be happy to use these as work lights to the back of the bed :D
I look like a cool kid now!

Yep, I have a 17 and I want that magic paper to sit in my warranty book too...

    but so far :tumbleweed:,

Not that it will do any good but it's like that extra sticker in your collection book.

I'm just going to see if I can finagle a free underside wash outa the inspection part...

you know "Well how you guys gonna see if there is any rust under all that dirt and oil?"

No way any stickers gonna stick unless they start scrubbin....

today i learned where our breathers plumbs to!
Looking at the shop images, i noticed the support bar for the left side but couldnt for the life of me figure out where it would connect to, you solved that question of mine.

I have an old computer case which has a large enough side panel that i could cut out the template from, though pretty sure it's steel. I know i have a stainless panel somewhere but it's always in the last place i left it. :notsure:

Realistically however, it's not a hard project to do. a single pass on the band saw, place all your parts down with 2ways tape, center punch the mounting brackets, 1/4-20 screws and the rivnut gun (i have 70 of these things so i might as well use em some way, like stand-offs), and a few good wacks in a vise and the bends will be useable.

Steel is fine, you'd be painting it anyways and it's so small so weight is not an issue.
Just has to be thick enough to not collapse under a tiny bit of weight.
It's the brace and the two bolts to the fenderwell that do all the work of it not shaking to bits.
No different than building a motherboard tray... (well less holes).

Don't even have to mount them both in the same spot...

K we've seen what you can do with a couple of bolts and a breadbasket... :woot:

Lets see what you can do with a fuseblock and an old PC case... :sawzall:

    You guys hear that?
    Voices again...
    better go get my AFDB.

There's a cheaper tray sold here but it's smaller: http://triggercontroller.com/product/trigger-toyota-tacoma-bracket/

Fortunately you don't drive an MT, or that location would've been taken up by the clutch reservoir.

ooh, good option too. But as it looks right this second, it's a tad bit small. Perfect for a single fuse panel and battery set up though.

i said to hell with it and i'm building my system to be able to upgrade to a dual battery with the only thing needing is the passenger side battery mount and a battery and a single wire going from that battery towards the fusebox i'm piecing together.

this is the current wiring schematic i came up with 3am, because i've lost control of my life and don't know what to do.

Blue lines are the negative/ ground
    red are positive/ live

    The idea is that;

2x Terminal fuse amps as redundant safeties, 1 for each circuit breaker to protect the battery at the source.
2x circuit breakers, for 2 groupings on the fuse panel, protecting the battery and isolating the rest of my system. allowing me to have them as master switches.

1 fuse panel that are split in 2 groups of 6 fuses. for cleaner setup and allowing me to isolate 100 amp systems and 150 amp. Though the Blue Sea fuse box can only take on 100A at most per grouping, the 150 would also be bypassing the fusebox entirely to supply power to a inverter within the cab. this way i have 2 master switches that can kill power to non essential stuff but leave other stuff running to help isolate electrical issues. Like allowing me to keep the fridge running but kill off any power sapping from the light bars/ work lights.

The 150A can also act as a backup that if i need the 100A breaker, or if it gives out, to do 1 thing entirely, like run a fridge because issues or something. The 150A can take on the power grid of both fuse groups, and will be under the 200A max on the fuse panel but if it does pull too much power, the breaker flips if the load is too much but none of the fuses pop.

I'll take a look, thanks for the heads up!

situations like this usually lead to custom pieces anyways. you guys are making out that the panel needs to be an overly engineered
It's 2 folds at most on a scrap piece of metal that has an approximate cut out of something.
I have a general template on hand for layouts and bolt holes. But again, very primitive as it's cardboard

The 100A breaker goes to the A terminal
the 150A breaker will go to the B terminal, A if it needs to in the future

    Oh that looks nice!

I dunno, an idea maybe, rotate the 100 and 150 breakers 90deg clockwise.
That way the heavy gauge feed wires from the battery don't go over your existing fuse panel cover so it's easier to take off...
and then it's a straighter runs from your breakers to your fuseblocks...
