GM offered me 2k more than MSRP on trade for my Tacoma. Damn. I really like their 1500. Gonna see if they can get what I'd want.

Learned a little bit about the all wheel drive system in my RAV4 tonight. I changed out the transfer case and the rear differential oil‘s. Nine years old and it’s probably never been done and the magnets in both gearboxes certainly had some metal gunk on them as expected. Small capacity at half a litre of oil each compared to my taco. New metal crush washers installed on all four plugs.

All I can say is it sure was a bitch being an old guy laying on his back underneath that car when compared to being under my taco :frusty: Breaking the torque on the plugs is such a pivotal moment

What are you doing at a GM dealer?

Better off getting a 5.7 Tundra if you want the tow capacity for that trailer. You work at a Toyota dealer don't you??

My dad drives a Gm haha. Yea, I don't think I could deal with the 21L/100km the Tundea does normally. I'm also a big diesel guy. Now, if Toyota made the next gen tundra diesel.... I'd have one ordered already. Also, only working there for 10 more days. Onto bigger and better things.

Hey, I follow him lol. Honestly I'm in the mindset of just keeping my truck for now. Gm's offer was tempting, but seeing the issues they have online scares me away.

Anybody here has experience with the Yakima Skyline roofracks? From what I read they seem to be the easiest to install and work well (although obscenely expensive in my opinion) ?

Looks ok. I'm just not sure about that IFS from Element.

If you finish MFab4x4 body the right way....

So I reached out to ra motorsports about a group buy for products. They have sliders and skid plates. Got the following:

We are always interested in our customers setting up group buys, and it can work in a couple of different ways, Discounts will range from 15-25%. If it is just one item you are looking at setting up a group buy for, like a Front Skid plate, there would be a volume discount set up for that particular item with discounts starting at 6 units and maximum discount would be reached at 24 units. Note that the quantities for price breaks vary by product. The second option is just to go by dollar amount, this way there would be a minimum buy-in amount of $2500 for the group, and the max discount would be reached at a group total of $15,000.
You will notice it is easier to get a higher discount sooner when going with the volume discount over the dollar discount.

The above methods only apply if all products are shipped direct to one location and distributed from there, preferably a commercial location with forklift access. You will also save greatly on shipping costs going this way. Alternatively we can set up discount codes to be used by the end user for individual orders however the discount will be lower this way.

Do let us know which products you would be interested in setting up a group buy for and we can provide more specific details. There could be more benefits to yourself as well for setting it up.

    Thank you for reaching out!
