that trip was sweet up until that rainy night where I woke up in a puddle.

We do have to go back to calabogie to explore some of the trails. Good times.

did you do the medium pack or the heavy pack? I believe OME just puts an add a leaf into the medium pack to make it Hd. Either way I ride around with the Hd pack with a flat bed. Rides good and doesn’t sag unless I put a load of stone in the truck.

I did the medium pack. Although I didn't get out this summer as much as I wanted to, the time that I did I noticed a pretty decent sag in the back. Now with the minibike (100+ lbs) and camping kit, I'm thinking it's gonna be a little too much sag so I've been looking at the SumoSpring as a solution.

You can see it a bit here.

Santa is getting me a set of KC Daylighter driving lights. Current plan is to install these on the stock bumper. I poked around on the site a bit, but I can't really find a clear answer: Is there wiring available for the switch when I replace a blank spot, or do I need to run full new wiring?

    What he said.
You're better off making an entire new harness and relay. Worth learning for future projects but is fairly straight forward.
You can activate the custom relay harness to trigger off an OEM button (i rewired my horn to trigger a relay to launch the new Hella horns i have).
Also those KC lights will pull more current through the system and the OEM fog wires wont be enough to handle it.

Ughhh...see that curved rear side glass on the surf, replacing that is nay possible. At least they figured that out after the 1st gen 4Runner...

Glad to see they (Toyota) infected the rest of the world with lowering rear glass to rot from the inside out models.

    I'm jaded

Filled my second tag with my old crossbow yesterday morning. Tasty little one-year-old buck on an epic hunt using a decoy!

My old taco gave me a hand getting it out of the field. It was a redneck move towing it on the ball hitch in the deer cart But I only went 2 kilometres down the road to a buddies house for a little lift into the bed.

    General question:
In the "fuck, it's too cold" regions of Canaderp. is it worth getting a winter front for the Taco? i dont see much info on any.
Figured to see if it's worth cutting up a dollar store windshield reflector to fit

I lived in Northern Alberta for a few years. Used to drive 5 hours one way just to go shopping in Edmonton. Truck was new at the time and other than using the block heater, I never covered the front. If anything, I'd come up with something like you said from Dollar Store.

Made one for the Ranger but not the Tacoma. Really don’t want to limit airflow to the trans. cooler. Especially in deep snow.

Wheeling in deep snow at -20, it's necessary to clear snow from the grille to avoid overheating. Not sure how the dynamic changes at -40. In principle, a winter front isn't necessary - the thermostat won't open to flow coolant thru the radiator if the coolant is cold. Likewise with the ATF (unless you pinned the ATF thermostat open like me...)

The fluid still goes through the Rad. first if I’m right. Didn’t know the cooler had a stat.
