Either one of the pistons is stuck or you got some cheap china pads? How many KMs since you changed?

Put a spring at the bottom as well, I have top and bottom springs on Yotas with this style of caliper.

and grease the pins religiously, mine come out easy with a light touch. That’s how greasy they are.

They're brand name. Less than 20k. Probably closer to 15. 3 are almost full. Springs have broken. Pins didn't seem like an issue but I put some anti-seize for now.

That said, I'm in the market for new rotors and anyone who would like to donate a single, lonely brake pad could end up being a friend.

Make sure the red area and pins are cleaned with a wire wheel and the pads move in and out of the caliper freely. I use slide lube on the end of the pads. Anti-seize will wash away.

For the rotors I can only recommend OEM, they are not far off from aftermarket price wise and last 100K+ kms easy, I am on the 2nd set and still got plenty of life and mind you they used to stop 37s.

for the brake pads akebono or advics are the only brands I install on my trucks.
Having two springs also helps a bit

And cleaning after each wheeling trip, I used to remove brake pads and clean mud and dirt and lube everything

Now that CT Motorsports are closed, what are people doing for re-gearing their diffs?

Blame the ADS race shocks. Your truck now chews through parts every weekend like a race truck. Better get an energy drink sponsorship :stirthepot:

Broken spreader clip probably contributed to the abnormal pad wear.

I have half-worn OEM pads to donate, but you can probably buy new pads in the time it takes for you to get mine.

I just had some issues and it ended up being 1 seized caliper piston. not that that is the problem hear but If your going to change pads check them individually
