Ontario CB Radio Hands Free Exemption

January 1, 2021 was the date the current 3 year moratorium was set to expire allowing motorists to use CB radios while driving.
Anybody know what the current law is? Did this get extended again, or is it now illegal to use a CB radio while driving.

"Drivers who hold a valid radio operator certificate issued under the Radiocommunication Act (Canada) may drive a motor vehicle on a highway while holding or using a two-way radio."

A ham licence is looking like a good bit of insurance now even if only gmrs or CB still.

 

$60 for a lifetime licence and exemption seems like a pretty sweet deal
