I just lifted the tape after painting the stock speaker grills and had dry paint under the tape. Alcohol and acetone did not work...... I got my tube of Liquid nails all purpose gel cleaner and with little effort all the paint was gone. I got the gell for removing decal glue and it was the best I ever used. Two thumbs up on paint removal. I took the stock stereo knobs off to paint them and roughed them up a bit with very fine sand paper and in no time was down to black plastic so I polished the face of the knob and stuck it back on. Painted the over head console, Starting to look good putting some black paint in a few spots.

Here are a few pics. If you let it soak in the Liquid nails will disolve most glue. I never tried it on superglue.
