Not sure. My first time was earlier this year. I would assume we're not too far off, but who knows with how shit's been going this year.

I'm not opposed if we can get a solid group!

Edit: forgot I will be coming back from Zion that weekend so I'm out :(

Why wait till the spring? Snow should be flying in another month. Lots of local stuff by me that I'm the only one on in the winter.

    You go all winter?
I've got some stuff I want/need to do before wheeling - but I'll be ready before spring

Yep. I wheel all year. I live at 4000' and can be up to 10'000 in a 12 mile drive. There's no reason to let my rig sit. I try and keep a local trail cut in during the winter. In the summer it's a easy 13 mile loop. In the winter it's a whole different beast. Snow wheeling is fun. Until it isn't. lol

What do yall think about organizing some winter mod days. Help motivate us all to get our maintenance done
Of course I say this as I look at all my winter maintenance/ mod list and kinda want to curl into a ball and die:anonymous::spending:

Shoot. How’d I miss this thread!

    Im down for some wheeling!

    Some winter mods for me:
    1) Onboard air
    2) Line lock (ebrake)
    3) plug all the holes in my floor board
    4) speedo - electric
    5) power steering reservoir

I’m ready to wheel now though so that list is just a to-do wish list.

    Four trail list for 2021
    -rubicon
    -dusy
    -deer valley
    -slickrock (new section)

Im always up for a weekend afternoon trip to LaGrange OHV if people want to mess around. A few good obstacles but mostly easy fun stuff.

Have you thought about a t-case brake instead of the line lock? Don't get me wrong line locks are the shit, especially if you run one to each rear, but I wouldn't trust them as a parking brake for more then an hour or two.

Yeah not a true ebrake by any means. More of a temp brake so I can take my foot off the brake and use the clutch and gas...

Ive thought about the driveline brake but I don’t have much room in the back and the kits I’ve looked at are fairly involved. My rear driveline can’t be more than 12 inches long. I need to look up more DIY stuff and see what people have done.

Have you thought about adding a hand throttle? At some point i'll be putting on my shifter for that reason.

Bicycle gear shifters work great for that

I’ve thought about the line lock on the shifter. Hand throttle is an interesting idea.

Post it up if you go that route!

I definitely will. You see it a lot on manual buggies and rock crawlers.
Now that I have a crawlbox, it will be less needed but something I still plan on doing.
