Unless you are leaking a ton of oil, may not be a huge deal.

Looks like a different design. No plugs

That is annoying that your wifes escape has a chain and we have belts...

@ebbs15 Where are you going in Moab over memorial day weekend? I was thinking of running Lockhart basin

I was going to try to go to RT. That is really tempting... Are you taking off the whole week, or making two trips?

Good luck seeing arches on memorial day weekend, take pictures of all the animals. lol.

shit didn't even think about all the sheeple... doh! oh well... we'll find something to entertain us... lol and Yes I'm staying the whole week. Monday I'm possibly meeting @NYCO to run the hole in the rock... which I think is going to take 3 days since we're going to camp and hike some. I enjoyed Moab, but I like more of the expo stuff than the intense rock crawling...

I saw that conversation on the trip page. I think the 4runner is too mild to run that trail. Or as @TBuzz called it too "mall crawler" :p

I am now debating taking the week and wandering. 2 day work week nothing happens... lol

I was looking through TD, I will have to look more. No sliders yet. I am expecting them shortly.

    Page 1 is a bitch, I don't blame you.

yeah looking at the slide show... I don't see anything to worry about once you get sliders... but Bob may have more input.

Part 2 of the valve cover gasket. The driver side. Somehow the driver side took less time than the passenger side. 3.5 hours.

The top piece of the intake manifold comes off really easy. All 12mm nuts and bolts. Steel gasket that can be reused.

One of the more frustrating parts was the the plastic cover that goes along the vc. I couldn't get it to do what I wanted so I broke it in a few spots. Wrestling the cover out can be tricky.

Pulled a plug wire apart. I had a spare that was a little short but worked. So not the end of the world.

The spark plug gaskets seem to break apart.

Well I got the travel big yesterday. Decided I wanted to go camping. Never been to El Malpais National Monument, so I jumped in the 4runner and went! 26 hour trip. 14 of those hours were behind the wheel. Next time I think I will take my time.

Gotta love that New Mexico traffic

Camp set up. I love the room. I can stand up in it. The buddy heater makes it toasty. Next time I am going to get a table and maybe a cot and try sleeping in it. Super fun to put up in the wind. Each side has 4 or 5 good steel stakes so I wasn't worried.

I'm way behind here. So did you have to take off the throttle body to do the passenger side?

So sorry I didn't see this.

I ghetto hung the top part of the intake with some bungee cords. I didn't want to mess with cruise control or the butterfly setup. I didn't pinch and hoses so I figured it worked! Haha
