Order/wait time for 17 Pro.

And your Barcelona red 15 Pro was much harder to come by. A very rare unicorn those are. It just shows you got do what you have to do if you want one bad enough.

 

My job wont accomodate me traveling much farther than a couple hours or so away. Flying to another state or even within state is out of the question.

 

Well then that throws a monkey wrench into things! I guess you have to patiently keep waiting on the stealership to come through, or keep checking online for another dealer closer to get one in. I really hope it works out for you. The Pro's are great trucks and you will love it.

Yes, it really isnt far. But like I said...with my job...its too far for me to go and get.

 

I work 12 days on, 2 days off. I only get every other weekend off. I just dont have the time to travel that far at the moment.

 

Pay a friend to go get it for you. Shit, I'd go get it for you and deliver it to your door.

Or tell the shady dealer that has your deposit to go get it or yank your deposit. They lied to you. And I have bad news for you, I don't think they are building 2017 Pro's right now. I was told they are done until 2018 which probably means September for you.

If it were me, I'd be hauling ass to go get a Pro 245 miles away on my day off. Can't think of many other better ways to burn it.

I would go find one!! I would still be waiting on my TRD Pro in 6spd manual if I didn't go hunt one down. They kept pushing the date further and further. Put the effort out and look at surrounding states

I live in Texas (Gulf States Toyota....may be called something else now) and I wanted a TRD Sport long bed in 4x4 with the tech package......the fleet guy laughed at me. They don't make "those" in the gulf states region so I had to "order" mine. I wanted it with NO dealer, or GST, add-ons from the port. My "order" was basically him putting in a request to Toyota to build that particular vehicle. It took a few weeks for Toyota to accept the build and then it showed up in their allocation. In all I waited almost 6mos for my build, partly because it rolled over to the 2017 year model because it took so long for the build to be approved. I forget when the cutoff is but if it hasn't already happened it's very close.

I felt you man, I was trying to get the red color but there is no luck around my area. I put down money and waited more than 2 month without any built day or allocation. I'm about to ask for the refund back then the GM gave me 2K off if I take the white pro on the lot. I'm pretty happy with it now.

 

Before I bought my Pro in early March I had 2 deposits at 2 different dealers. Both called me to say that Toyota was no longer making 2017 Pros, and that they could transfer my deposit to a 2018 Pro. (If Toyota makes one.) I refused and luckily one of the dealers managed to snag me an MT Pro that someone fell through buying.

What I'm trying to say is that there is a strong possibility that Toyota has ceased production on 17 Pros. If your dealer can't give you a confirmed allocation or build date, I'd say go travel and buy one ASAP. That or wait and hope that Toyota does make a 2018 Pro.

Won't regret getting one either way, seeing it everyday brings a smile to my face!
