Wow that was a quick couple of months!
Copy from first post (Like the title says, have a 2013 SR5 coming in the next two months or so.)

 

Doesn't bother me. I get what I want in life by thinking ahead and going for it when I should and I've gotten far that way. PS I have done this on my last three trades for my BMWs and sold it all for a profit.

NICE! "thinking ahead"....does that mean pre-meditation of just how far you're going to bend the guy over that buys the trade from the dealer?

One more reason NOT to drive a BMW...you get lumped in with pricks like this.

You are 100% correct they are happy to make the deal they don't care about the trade, they will find someone to buy the truck or sell it to fly be night used car dealer.

Let this post serve as a reminder to all used vehicle buyers to not only look to see if the owners manual is there, but also to make sure the glove box itself and brake light bulbs are too.

New here, Owned a 99 EXT CB Pre Runner 2.7, 01 DBCB 4x4 3.4 and now a 12 DBCB TRD TOW 4X4. Just read the thread WOW. As an older guy THICK-SKIN that someone said is correct, If you ask the question and want the truth don't get offended. @nd I sold my 2 older Tacomas outright. Was proud of the trucks, told the new owner of the upgrades etc wanted to give them a good experience and a feeling of getting a good truck. Treat the buyer like you want to be treated even if you are trading it in. Owners who rape their truck when selling more than likely did not care for it much (maintence).
