I usually try to get things up in the 'scheduled meet thread' to help out, but I've been too busy. Excellent job, Derek at getting things going

On a seperate note, I checked Costco for alignments. They don't do them. Any news on Firestone?

I forgot about the scheduled meet thread.

At this point, it seems more people are available to go Sunday so I probably can't even go.

It was most likely a 4 banger or else the guy can't drive. The 4.0 V6 owns the 3.4 every day. That 4.0 is a bit of a hot rod engine.

EDIT: Also, good thing this isn't a Subaru forum. You'd be flamed out of existence for talking about street racing on a forum. ;)

Because it's illegal, dangerous, and irresponsible. Sure you think you're the greatest driver in the world but you can't account for a million different variables. For example someone crossing the street, blowing a tire, swerving to miss a car that pulled out and spinning out, etc. Don't do it on the street. Don't do it on the street unless you want a reckless driving ticket, car impounded, and your license revoked or suspended.

On another level, talking about street racing on TW is a sure way to get a thread closed. It would be a shame to lose this thread.

I haven't gone there yet. Pricing on the lifetime ranges between $150-$180 from what I've read. They sometimes run promos offering discounts though. I'm more concerned about the quality of work and the disposition of the staff than price though. I'm super busy this week/weekend, but maybe I'll make it there on Monday. I'll keep you posted.

A little late, but maybe I will quote myself, and transfer it to the Scheduled Meet thread....just to add to the confusions and duplicity. Thanks again!

I don't know. I think that thing is called "Domo" and it originated from online forums in general. Not just automotive ones. It's the symbol that you seriously need a life is all I can think when I see it on a car or shirt.

So in short to answer your question: I have no idea. I see that kind of crap on Hondas more than I do on Subarus

If he's turning wrenches on people he better be able to on a truck. :p

Digging the ear protection. I really need to use that...a lot more than I do.

I don't bother street racing. With all the extra weight and tire it is such a losing game lol. I'm just like screw you! I'll park on your POS when you pile it into the ditch!
