I think he is asking if he needs 8's or 10's. I'm guessing 10's to be safe, but I don't know how much travel the +2 kits make over stock length arms.

goes from 8" on stock arms to a full 12 on the allpro lt kit. just not sure if the 8's will be long enough, since the compressed length is shorter then a standard coilover with the same travel

Ahh you mean a 2"LT kit you would want the 10's for that.

You will be charged at the time of order. I do have a few sets on order so it should be a little sooner then the 8 week lead time.

Even if they could, I don't think the CV's and tie-rods have much more travel in them either.

On 2nd gens, the OEM UCA BJ runs out of travel first, then the OEM LCA BJ run outs of travel. The CV's are right on the edge though, and I don't think the tie-rods are too far behind the CV's...

When you say, BAMF upper mount, you mean the top hat right? That comes with BAMF's kit.

I like that they fit snug so they don't rotate. I made my own upper mounts for the ORI's out of an old strut mount, and welded my own tabs to it, but I used rubber spacers to keep the upper mounts from rotating. Your set up is much cleaner. Your truck is better too. I settled for a pathfinder and somehow made it work.

Got pics? Mine rotate and rub on the top hats making a clank sound every time. JW's don't for some reason though and we weren't sure why the difference.

Humm maybe some rubber wobble stops. Mine don't spin at all I don't even think I could twist mine when they are under pressure.

Interesting. Mine is the entire strut twisting back and forth a a little bit from being heimed top and bottom. It's just enough movement to let it knock.

His bearings might be tighter. Some are harder to move than others. I'll post some pictures of my mount when I get a chance later today.

Here are some pictures of my strut mounts for 10" ORI's. I don't have the lateral support provided by an upper control arm, so the bottom mount is retrofitted with a sleeve made from the stock struts to act as the spindle. I gained a little more compression travel by welding my tabs to the top of the upper mount. The lower mounts are an older style (same diameter as the piston shaft), and I have a 12" piston shaft for a 10" strut, so the spindle sleeve wouldn't limit my down travel. I used a couple pieces of rubber on the upper mounts to keep the struts from rotating, so they don't twist and knock.
The picture of the spindle mount is old. The sub-frame has since been dropped 4 inches and my CV axle isn't all torn up like you see in the picture. I've also added the reservoirs, nice tight fit. This was an experimental design to see if the ORIs could handle the side load without an upper control arm.

That is pretty interesting. I take it they are holding up as the spindle? I wouldn't have expected them to honestly.
