So these can be used on a stock 1st gen front end? We were having a discussion on T4R about this and some people were saying they wouldn't work for a stock set up, but you needed long travel or SAS.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
You don't need LT or as SAS to install them. I haven't checked the compressed measurement but extended they fit just fine.

    Yep.
    You sure about that? :spy:

PM'd back and forth today with JLee (thanks again for all the help!) and he said 8-10 weeks. Obviously could be different for you since you ordered a few weeks ago.

I got on ORI's dealers list this afternoon and called 6 different shops across the country. They all said the same, 8-10 possibly 12 weeks. Not to mention none seem to stock them; they just order them when a request comes in.

I'm bummed :( Really can't wait till October to replace the front.

Yeah man i told you they are backed up and if any dealer stocked them it won't be 8's for sure ORI does not sell many 8" stroke struts. If the interest is there on these I'll be stocking a few sets at a time. And if you would of just contacted me a week ago she had 10 sets of 8" stroke ready to ship but they are all spoken for now.

They wont be building any unless they are ordered. They had all those others because someone ordered and then was MIA for a month so they call all of us to see if we want to buy them. All the ones i picked up are spoken for so if you want some I can get the order in so they can get the ball rolling.

After talking with ORI, yes. I am sure, I have a deadline that I HAVE to meet and they said they would/could. Going hunting second week of September and the truck needs to be DONE at that point. That means I need to have my struts before the 1st. They said they'd do everything in their power to make sure that happens. I've got no reason not to believe them and I think that puts me right in my originally given timeframe.
