Unless I am mistaken, I now have an orphan truck. For years Toyota did not not offer an automatic transmission in the Tacoma regular cab. For the 2011 model year they brought it back at a time that I needed it. My 1998 Tacoma was part of the frame buyback and I was able to get the regular cab and automatic transmission in a 4X4. It has a minimum of extras, but it fit my budget at a time I needed it.

It does not appear that the automatic transmission is available in a regular cab for 2012. So for one moment in time it was there when I needed it.
