    Well I am taking a road trip 7+ hrs to Hot Springs Arkansas. Planning on going to the Super lift ORV Park http://www.orvpark.com/. I have a toolbox packed with a few things but wanting to make sure I don't leave out something I will need.
    Toolbox:
    2 Tow straps
    Hand Saw
    Shovel
    Boots
    Air Compressor

    Inside Cab
    Toilet Paper
    Jumper cables
    Flash Lights
    AC Converter
    GPS
    Hand held radios (No CB)
    First Aid Kit
    General Tools

    I have never been to an ORV park, and where I live we don't really have any trails or obstacles. Just crawfish ponds and bumpy ass levees.

    Any heads up will be appreciated. I am heading out there with a friend, he is bringing his truck but I would also like to have another more experienced person with us, would there be any takers here on TW?

    make sure everything is secured though...or else you'll get super annoyed by it bouncing around all day...or you may spend time picking it up off the trails after it bounced out of your bed

    Oh that I have covered. I'm not new to off roading just an actual park designated for Vehicles. Hell been hunting a few places that I am sure were more difficult than their 1 star trails.

    Will you have a trail guide while on the trails? Or will it be YOU and a couple other people guiding yourselves?

    If you're gonna have a park respresentative guiding you around - they should be equipped with everything to take care of basic issues while on the trails.

    Have you looked at the park rules & regulations? Requirements? etc

    Make sure your spare tire is good & ready.

    Electric Dynolock tailgate, TrailGear Slides, , 285/75-16 Yoko Geolanders on Wheelers Type B, SAW 2.0 front and back, Camburg b/j UCA, 1.5" AAL, Ubolt flip, ARB bump.
    From my exp, the main 2 things that will happen is 1. getting stuck, and 2. flat tires.

    1.Bring the appropriate equip to to pull, or be pulled, both forward and backward: hooks, straps, etc.

    2. Bring your spare tire, some plugs, air pump/compressor, appropriate jack(s), etc.

    And that's exactly my point.....

    Sounds like the park isn't catering to the lesser equipped vehicles. They should have trails designated for everyone - where you don't have to drive in FEAR of breaking all that stuff. And not to mention, people need to drive their trucks home.....there's a lot more things that can break besides CV axles & such. If you don't have the spare parts, your screwed.

    Sounds like a place to avoid if you're a beginner or aren't equipped enough.

    I beleive you- I blew out a CV avioding an asshole on the road and that sucked...I don't want to imagine how much it sucks to have to repair on the trail.

    +1...If the advice is bring lots of spare parts....I'd be weary of going without some more intel...

    I appoligize for not responding but I was at the park!! We had a Blast Nothing was broken and the tires look good. We stayed mainly on the 1-3 rated trails. However we did come to a place marked as a 3 that had a tree fall, directing us to a 5 rated tail. We couldn't turn around because it was a 1 way trail, and there was no way to go around. The had a very large path allowing us to pick our lines well, I must say the guys at the top of the 5 were mighty impressed with us when we got up there. I'll be starting a thread with the pics, I'll post the link here. Thanks for the great replys.
