Hey guys, since we couldn't make the winter road this year, do you want instead to do a trip thru the Ottawa region ( edited, removed: "or Quebec at beginning of April or end of March?" )

This is the Ottawa Valley option, 4 hours away from GTA

    Edited, removed the below options:

In Quebec we have the gaspesian loop, but it's 10 hours just to reach from the gta.

Swisha loop, Quebec, option is 5 hours away.

I would be in for any of those runs!! Beginning of April would be the best time for me.

If we do the Ottawa Valley, we could add the Darling Hidro Line to the trip. It's a Of4wd trail. Rated 2.

There may be a significant amount of snow still in the trails/roads. Roads used as snowmobile trails that are in tall trees tend to stay snow and ice packed a while into the spring, i have found myself stuck in these conditions when water is flowing under the pack and the trucks break through in random unsuspecting spots!

Concerned about pinstriping for Swisha. (Though @Tridet167 may find the scratch noises therapeutic...)

Put me down as interested in any of them.

Keep in mind at the end of March or early April any trail used as a snowmobile trail will still have ice and snow on it. At least though you'll be too early for the blackflies.

Do you guys would know if we can do the loop
Yeah, we still have to check if these go thru snowmobile trails. That's one of my concerns. Another one is if the swisha loop will have high water crosses.
On terms of ice or snow, I hope these will be mostly gravel, so it should be safe. Hopefully no hills. I would be taking snow flake tires
