Well I was on my way back from my buddys house last night and this happned ......:eek:(see attachment)... Now the only question is since this is a street queen should i just go OEM, ARB, Brushguard? and do you think i can talk the body shop into putting in an aftermarket grill (inshurance expence of course)? Tell me what you think...

    BTW it was a Deer

Oh shit! That's blows. You should just get the ARB and pay the difference if there is any. The body shop is always willing to help if it involves making them more money. :D

You're not the only one schwartz, I put some lovely mall rash on mine yesterday too. Granted, mine's a strawberry, but still the most noticable one i've pulled off to date. Hey used to work at a body shop, and usually, no, they cannot replace with aftermarket stuff....(liability reasons)..... However, get the shebang estimates, and get a check from the ins. company, and, Kaboom, new ARB bumper hits the doorstep, imagine that? Persnally, I'd never use that "tin stuff" grille guard, etc... so either one extreme...(oem), or the other, (arb, shrockworks, or allpro).

Ouch bro- You can work out whatever you want with the body shop after the adjuster decides how much you'll be getting. You can take a check and buy/install whatever you'd like usually, they might give you a break if you buy more parts or whatever.

Adding the weight of an ARB on a street truck doesn't make sense...A brush guard could look good. I'd get it back to OEM if it were me and I was going for street. I'd throw the ARB or something like it on for me...cause I take it offroad.
