Looks good. You could, I would personally sand it tape everything around it off with newspaper and paint it black. Granted I plastidipped my rear bumper couple years ago but there's some rock chips in it that show some chrome.

I guess that's your choice, I think regular black would match the mirrors.

Excellent. Will try your suggestion. Never really painted, and wasn't sure if the striping around the window would take it.

Also the rear bumper (lower part) that is gray, I would like to paint that, to take the scuffs off. Would you recommend black for that as well? Thank you

It should be fairly easy, there's probably some way to take those trim pieces out or you can tape around it. Start with a lower grit depending on how bad the current paint is like 600 and work your way up to a finer grit to level it. Primer it, and then spray even coats of your choice of paint with 10 min intervals between coatings. The last step is optional if you want to clear coat it, it would help against sunlight and abnormalities.

The rear bumper must've been painted by previous owner as it should've been chrome or a base black. Black would match your mirrors, door handles, and the front bumper and always goes great with white.
I would say it should take a day or a rushed afternoon.

I think its actually pretty cheap and easy to replace with new pieces. Maybe the cost of paint.

Thank you. When I am at the dealership to pick up floor mats, I will ask them about it.

No problem. I've seen the write up on here somewhere. I have the same problem but it's not bad enough to bother me enough to replace them I guess. Good luck dude.

Love the truck. Clean, one owner, not used as a work truck, shows.

Keeping the extender for now :)
