Like the little River. Grew up by Myrtle Beach Sc we had a little river down there. Bought the retirement home on the Little River just outside of Elizabeth city NC. Folks show nuff dont communicate very well in NC from east to west or north to south. Lol

OK, Trial run at OBX today. Finished up the truck this morning so we hauled butt to OBX . Everything worked perfect but the fish. Mama got to lay out and I was just tickled all the building went as panned. Now getting up with you guys when the fishing does get good in the fall.
Takes about 2o minuets to set up and roughly 30 to take it down and be rolling. Reckon were ready. ;)

Start at 20 and go down as necessary from there. I wouldn't go below 12. What section of the OBX? You know you'll need a permit for beach driving, right? Don't miss taking the free Hatteras/Ocracoke ferry. Free air at many places - Frisco Rod and Gun is a good one if you're down that way (Ramp 49).

If its been hot and dry, the sand will be softer and fluffier so you may want to go as low16-18psi. Depends on your tires how low you feel comfortable. Remember to drive in the ruts and turn slow and wide. Stay off the red sand, its wet and VERY soft. Have fun and catch em up!

18-20 psi. If you’re going to hatteras island, generally the worst ramps are 38, 43 and 44. Most of the others are pretty smooth sailing. I generally avoid ramp 43 due to the sugar sand. 48 and 49 usually stay pretty flat and are good beaches for hanging out especially with children at low tide.

Made it on the sand with no issues! Dropped psi down to 20! Ran mostly in 2nd and 3rd gear!
