Thanks for the info. We will definitely keep the museum in mind. We'll be there for 2.5 days, arriving Tuesday afternoon and leaving early Friday, so depending on how much time we have may look into the lighthouse trips as well. Thanks again!

No problem. Just keep in mind, from frisco, it’s about 4hrs round trip to Ocracoke. And that lighthouse isn’t open for climbing so it may just me smarter to stick to this side of the ferry till you have more time on a future vacation.

Early morning has been alright off the piers with blues and Spanish, been some sheepshead and triggers throughout the day. Beaches are starting to get too crowded to really try to fish there. Other than working, I plan on being a hermit till mid September when things start to pick up again. And I snapped a rod the yesterday, so I’m in a non fishing mood

If you'd like to meet for a beer or something let me know we stay around mile post 11 every year. I keep trying to convince my wife to go ahead and move down there.

Uwharrie is perfect to bring a trailer to. You can’t camp on the trails and getting to the campsite is easy to do with a trailer. There’s a lot of different difficulties on the trails there so something for everyone

    Very nice around here

I hear a lot of good things about it especially with camping and offroading. SO many places to camp on the grid or off the grid along the trails

Yeah man, first annual Meat Meet at a Brewery in SC a little over an hour from URE. Starting around noon with a meat competition and then the pig will be done around 7pm. Asking for a $5 donation towards the pig and if you can bring a dish that would be great

I'll be there Friday through Sunday if you want to meet up. I'll probably run everything Saturday though and eat and pack up Sunday
