Anybody know where I can find that metal sealing ring on a front cv axle? I accidentally lost one when replacing my cv axle and the new one didn't come with one

    Edit:

Wait, did you lose the boot clamp, or the actual oil seal that nests in the diff housing?

Just use a hose clamp. $2 for a 4 pack at Lowe's Depot.

Protip: Once you get 'em back on the vehicle, check for clearance for the adjustment screw....make sure it can rotate fully with the axle articulated through it's full range without hittin' anything.

Gotcha. I'd suck it up and go dealer on that. You can try auto-parts stores too.

    x2 I think you'll find it somewhere.

Wouldn't hurt to have an extra though.

They do. They refer to them as the "wheel seal"; found under the BRAKE/WHEEL HUB section. .
