outside temperature display

Probably been beat to death but I surf on phone only and can't search easily.

I just got my new 2014 DC TRD off road.
I just noticed today it has a temp sensor behind the grille. This is one feature I miss from my last truck along with an autodim mirror.

What gives? Easy to install? Wiring in place?

I installed one in my old Dakota and had to gut a junk truck to strip part of a wiring harness out to use.

Any info?
