There’s been at least 5 threads on this this week, it’s just a symbol that tells you there could be ice on the road, only comes on in the mid 30s or lower temperatures

Yes, you can get black ice forming on bridges around 4 degrees C (science degrees). Truck is just trying to make you aware.

It’s not nearly as bad as my 2018 Chevy 2500 dump truck. It has 3 warnings on the radio screen that last a good two minutes into driving. 1. “It is below freezing so watch for ice”. No shit, I have 14 layers on to work in this morning. 2. “ check backseat for passengers when exiting the vehicle.” I would if I had a backseat and not a single cab! 3. “It is dangerous to take your eyes off of road”. Oh you mean while I’m trying to read all of these warnings. Are we that dumb as a society to have a computer to tell us how to drive? Thanks Chevrolet for helping me get through the day. I’m waiting for it to tell me that the food I’m snacking on is bad for me.

    Funny thing is...

Adults always tell small children to "Use your words"

But when the kids grow up they get a dashboard full of indecipherable pictures.

I think every single vehicle going back to early 2000s that I've had has some version of this warning. Comes on at 3C in most cases or about 36F? In most other cars I've had the temp number would flash and beep for a while.

I uhh...peeled the stickers off. Does that count?

What is the conversion from "science degrees" to "Freedom Units".

There is not a conversion between F (Freedom Units) and C (source, am engineer). You can use inferior temperature ranges, or you can use one from the country that put men on the moon.
